Virtual course: digipedia – digital and pedagogical competences

From the CRIE, the UTP invites teachers to enroll in the MOOC Digipeda – Digital and Pedagogical Competencies, starting in October 2024. They will not only be able to strengthen their digital competencies, but also share and exchange ideas and experiences with teachers from Brazil.
The course is part of the Embrace project and aims to improve the digital and pedagogical competencies of higher education teachers, focusing on the evaluation and efficient use of digital resources, as established by the European Framework of Digital Competence for Educators (DigCompEdu).
This course marks the beginning of a trilogy of MOOCs integrated into Embrace, a collaborative initiative to significantly transform higher education. The project is led by the University of Hamk (Finland) and with the participation of leading institutions such as IFES, IFSP and UFABC (Brazil), Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira and Universidad Areandina (Colombia), and Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (Portugal).

Methodology:
The MOOC course adopts an autonomous learning approach, providing a variety of materials such as videos, texts and links in Moodle. It encourages practice through activities, promotes interaction in discussion forums, exchange of productions and automatic evaluations. Available in Portuguese, Spanish and English, the MOOC course stands out for its open and flexible nature, emphasizing the autonomous participation of students without direct tutoring.
